I’ve always been the type to collect hobbies, try all the things, you know, a real jack of all trades type (Sagittarius).

And I thought this was a great thing until I grew up a bit and began to meet people who had crafted and honed in on practices and skills and techniques and it showed…that I had not.

I’m competitive, and a hard worker, and I feel motivated when I’m affirmed for my efforts. And it was beginning to seem like my curious tendencies may not be the best for me.

But! Lucky me!

I finally learned there was more to the story!

A jack of all trades is a master of none…

but oftentimes better than a master of one.

Not too long after, I learned about art direction. Things just have a way of working out, don’t they?
